PORTUGUESE is spoken by approximately 261 million people in Europe (Portugal), in Africa (Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, and S. Tomé e Príncipe), in South America (Brazil), and in Asia (East Timor, Macau, Goa, …) Portuguese is the 5th most spoken language in the world, 2nd in Southern Africa, 3rd in Facebook, the 5th on the Internet. 1st in the Southern Hemisphere and a worldwide language of football. It is the social or working language of most international organizations: it is a language of international communication in expansion.
According to OLP Portuguese is the 4th language most spoken in the world. Did you know that more than 240 million people speak Portuguese as their mother tongue?
It is a native language in emerging economies like Brazil, Angola, and Mozambique so learning Portuguese may prove to be an excellent career option!
Portugal is one of the best destinations in Europe. Lisbon was just considered one of the best tourist destinations in the world. In Portugal, there are lots to know about the real Portuguese lifestyle. So why not visiting Portugal?
Have contact with the amazingly welcoming Portuguese culture and people. Portugal is the epitome of a warm culture.
